Ed signed hundred of autographs on pictures, hats, T shirts, arms, and approx 2000 people came. The police were amazing and closed Market St/Masons Lane to allow the crowds to flow in to Church St. Cllr Isabel Martindale did a great job in welcoming him with the loud hailer. We were all very proud. Ed went on to celebrate with family and friends at the rowing club.

This weekend, May 5th and 6th, has been designated as the big weekend for a Brighter Bradford! In anticipation of the Olympic Torch coming through on its way to London on May 22, a work party will meet in the centre of town (Westbury Gardens) at 9.30am and 2pm on both days.
Come rain or shine, you are invited to don your wellies and work-gloves and come along with some tools to help tidy any public spot enroute that looks unattended or neglected. Many hands make light work and it should be fun!
